The aim of any investigations is to decide whether or not there is a case to answer with regards to the matter being investigated, by obtaining a clear picture of the situation through evidence gathering, interviewing and analysis where required. Employers must ensure that they conduct full and fair investigations without any preconceptions, bias or prejudices.
