They have to achieve the corporate objectives set out by their own managers whilst ensuring they serve the needs and expectations of their direct reports. Balancing this effectively is paramount in order to achieve an organisation’s goals and strategic objectives. Getting it wrong can be detrimental to the organisation’s on going development.
