So many employee issues could be avoided or resolved early if managers had the courage to have “the difficult conversation”. The problem is that one of the primary areas of avoidance amongst managers are situations that involve difficult conversations. By avoiding the difficult conversation, the situation will only deteriorate further and will usually result in poor productivity, negativity across the team and low morale.
